Well.... that was certainly a downpour!!!
Didn't cop the worst of it like Ipswich but we still had about 80mm.
If we get anymore rain this afternoon I'm not sure I'll be getting home from work. The creek near home is flowing right up to the bottom of the bridge.
Heard on the radio somewhere out near Aratula received 254mm overnight. That is a massive amount of rain!!!! |

I am in Marsden and we got 165mm last night. Scrubby creek at Kingston was lapping the bridge. I have never seen as much water flowing. I had to find a few new ways to get to work this morning. Like someone else said, if we get storms this arvo, I might not get home.

I pulled out my neighbours hiace last night, my drive way is out on the road. The ramp from the shouse to the shed is all eroded out. A person I work with who lives on new beith road has 1 m of water though his yard atm, and this rain gauge measured 158mm of rain. |

I have no water in the streets but my yard copped a hiding we had that much water come through its knocked down fences and retaining walls. The neighbours gravel driveway is in my yard I wish the tight arse prick would bitumen the farking thing.
I havent been game to look in the shed yet the Lux is up in there and we had that much water it moved a 4 high tyre stack from behind the shed |

hi there outer limit guys and girls,
im in morayfiled and have tipper bobcat and excaator
as well as a chainsaw and a tinny with a 15hp outboard to assist in helping you all clean up.
now i am not wanting to profitt from your unfortunate situation.
but i am offering my time and machines to assist,
i am open to donatioons to cover the cost of diesel as a single owner operator and not like these big companies who can cover your costs and charge the council,
but if you need machines to assist you cover tipp fees and help with fuel i am willing to come out and help clean up free of machine hire and operator costs, all i ask is help with fuel,
if you need assistance please contact me ,
cheers

Ahhhhh hell.... I might not be getting home if that storm in the south keeps heading east.
Hopefully it can hold for 2 hours or so then it can dump all it likes after I am home. Might even get out of work tomorrow |

Ah for fark sake I have had enough If there is a god he's a dead set prick!
Still no power, water sewage the lot, got hit again last night, up at 1 am boarding more windows. Fueling generators, we got 160mm last night, more farking rain, more farking wind, finishing off the trees it didn't get Sunday night. I had enough and here farking we go again tonight!
The place still looks like a farking bombsite and its growing with each storm! |
