Well.... that was certainly a downpour!!!
Didn't cop the worst of it like Ipswich but we still had about 80mm.

If we get anymore rain this afternoon I'm not sure I'll be getting home from work. The creek near home is flowing right up to the bottom of the bridge.

Heard on the radio somewhere out near Aratula received 254mm overnight. That is a massive amount of rain!!!!

I am in Marsden and we got 165mm last night. Scrubby creek at Kingston was lapping the bridge. I have never seen as much water flowing. I had to find a few new ways to get to work this morning. Like someone else said, if we get storms this arvo, I might not get home.

I pulled out my neighbours hiace last night, my drive way is out on the road. The ramp from the shouse to the shed is all eroded out. Confused

A person I work with who lives on new beith road has 1 m of water though his yard atm, and this rain gauge measured 158mm of rain.

No i had to go via springfield -> carole park -> yatala if it storms tonight like they are predicting i think working tomorrow will be off. My yard is chopped to shit.

Still no power, water sewage the lot, got hit again last night, up at 1 am boarding more windows. Fueling generators, we got 160mm last night, more farking rain, more farking wind, finishing off the trees it didn't get Sunday night. I had enough and here farking we go again tonight!
